What came of it, we were given the opportunity to see this amazing girl with a love for life, acting, and the guitar. Of course they were able to pick a head shot with a few others for their home. Mom and Pop Place

Leo and Cora where photographed for a promotion at the Mom and Pop Place in Neenah. We photographed them in cloth diapers from Bum Genius that can be purchased at the Mom and Pop Shop along with alot of other goodies. The shop in Neenah has so many unique kids toys and clothes along with a cafe that is kid friendly. We really enjoy the atmosphere their and are thrilled to soon be seeing the middle image above framed on the wall for the shop. If you get a chance to check it out, it's soooo worth it. El

Out with the old in with the new. We replaced the funky black and white tile with what we would consider a urban sheek look. It took us 3 days to take out, put in, and put back together. With the help of Buck and his side kick Evan we pushed through a job well worth it. I will be posting images of the new look in a couple of days.

The wedding programs were created as bookmarks by Erin. They were unique and themed with the invites. These were given out prior to the ceremony. The poem on the front is beautiful, and fit the day.

May 9th, 2009 The day was spectacular at The Waters. The beautiful ceremony, the live band, and the dancing. But as all things good have to come to an end so did the wedding. But as you can see the end we left with a bang. The band let us literally bang on the equipment, and take pictures. For wich we give alot of credit and thanks to Erin's Wedding Photographer Jerry from Heide Lee Photography. We love the images.

Erin's Wedding Invites

So busy beavers at the studio, Erin created her own wedding invites, and response cards. She added a twist to the response cards by perforating an edge for her guest to keep, (a little reminder of the events on the wedding day). She printed these
as 4x6 card from a print company we use for the business P.S. Print. All 240 invites were shipped in plenty of time to know that their were going to be plenty of guests at the wedding. In other words they worked very well.

We just adored the monkey hat that Caden is wearing. He was only 6 weeks in the images above. The green chair image was an absolute favorite of ours and the family. Today we found out that grandma carries an 8x10 of it wherever she goes. We love hearing stories like that, and look forward to watching Caden grow. El

Kelsey is the younger sister to a very good friend of ours, so it was a blast taking these pictures. What worked out so well for us that October day as I recall, is that the temp out side was in the 60's. We were very lucky. As we photographed Kelsey we could see her older sister come out in alot of the looks she gave us. This was especially fun to talk about during the viewing where they sat next to eachother and said the same thing. We hope the best for Kelsey and her family in the New Year. EL

This is a unique story. Baily above was one of the first portraits Erin and I photographed together. The top two pictures are from that shoot, two years ago. Baily is Erin's cousin and was up for anything two years ago, so when her parents asked us to photographer her again, we knew it would be neat. This time we photographed her with the family dogs, Pork and Beans. It was definately more challenging with the pets, but Baily kept them under control. She really enjoyed the image of her laying on the grass with the dogs. It will be interesting to continue to capture her growing up. El

So as you can see above we had a special guest with Libby during her photoshoot. He was very cooperative, and kept us on our toes. This was our first senior shoot with a horse, and the images that we captured we felt were amazing. Libby's dress and boots she wore definately made a difference, and we love her for that. So the dream! To have been in sister act the movie. So we brought it to life on Halloween! We had some help from some friends to make is seem like a pack of us. I think the best part of Halloween was when we all danced as a group of nuns. It had to be hilarious from the outside in, cuz it was absolutely histeracle from the inside out. Relatives to Erin, we photographed this family at thier beautiful home, which makes for a unique session. The dog Sammy was in and out of shots, but the picture above was his best take with the family. A year ago we had photographed Dani and Doug on the white for fun, (which they had never seen), so in the viewing we showed them with the family shots, which made for a good laugh. This year Dani and Doug gave out Christmas cards with the three images on them. What a hoot! Thanks to Dave, Jan, Doug, Dani, and Sammy for your time and smiles. El

Erin recently put a collection of our Bahama images together. I think if you have ever been, you could relate with all these images. As well the colors and placement of each image works so well in this collection. We have it displayed at Sophie's II in Omro, WI. It is a framed 20x20 gallery print that is able to be purchased. I made a trip to each school and dropped off a small flier. When I had made my way to Menasha High, it was closed. So I drove down the street and saw a new theatre just built. So I decided to drop the fliers their. After photographing these girls, we found out that Megan worked at the theatre and that is how they found out about us. How random, because for us the girls brought a great vibe to the studio. The bike images above are so fun to look at. We enjoyed taking them, and these girls made it worth while. El

Too crazy, fun crazy that is! Nikki was our first senior to split her session into two, due to her new dew! She came the first time with her long hair and a week later, chopped right off! We loved it. Nikki and her mom were a blast. Her images say alot but for us, getting to know the two of them was the icing on the cake. We wish Nikki the best. SPA Model

Recently we just became members of SPA "Senior Portrait Artists", and we were able to enter one senior into the spa model competition. Nikki above has the chance to be one of 15 national winners to recieve a modeling portfolio, and a trip to model at the 2009 SPA event in Summerlin, Nevada in January 4th-7th, 2009. Nikki will also be put on the national Spamodels.com website, receive a set of 10 comp card, and be eligible to be a national spa model chosen by a spa fashion stylist. We find out results in the beginning of November. We will keep you posted. This is something new to the studio. 2010 seniors will have the chance to enter the competition, more information to follow next year. El

The Bikes

The other day we knew that two girls who we will be mentioning later, but for now will remain nameless, would be coming over for their photo shoot and wanted to ride our vintage bikes (which we have obtained over the years). So we (erin and I) decided to test them out, and while riding as you can see in the images above we also stopped by our sign outside and had some snapshots taken, the credit their given to William Brian (a good friend of the family). So anywho, we went to the Joshua Radins concert at the Pabst theater. We had a blast and the picture above is the gang and Josh Radins autograph. (He was giving them out like candy) We ended up at the Safe House with the band. If ever in Milwaukee you should check it out. You have to have a password to enter and that is all I'm going to say about that. The concert was a hit, especially the opening bands who we have to mention and keep telling everyone about.
